Cookie policy

What cookies are, which ones this website uses and how you can manage or disable them.

What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your browser or device when you visit it. It makes it possible to recognise your device, remember your preferences and improve your browsing experience. There are first-party cookies (managed by the Owner) and third-party cookies (managed by other entities), and they may be session cookies (deleted when you close the browser) or persistent cookies (they remain for a set period).

Types of cookies we use

Depending on their purpose, this Website may use the following categories:

  • Technical or necessary: essential for the Website to work (for example, keeping your session open or handling the cookie notice). They are exempt from the consent requirement.
  • Preference or functional: they remember data or settings in order to personalise your experience (for example, your details when you leave a comment).
  • Third-party: installed by external services through embedded content or through features such as avatars.

This Website does not use advertising cookies or commercial profiling cookies.

In addition, articles may include embedded content from other sites (videos, posts and so on), which may install its own cookies and carry out tracking under those third parties’ policies, over which the Owner has no control.

Legal basis and consent

Technical or necessary cookies are used on the basis of the legitimate interest in the proper functioning of the Website and are exempt from consent. All other cookies are installed only with your consent, which you give by accepting them or by carrying out the corresponding action (for example, ticking the box to remember your details when commenting).
